obscenegestur: tears of gaia’s vocalist is a rapist. you shouldn’t group them with the vegan straight edge community because of that piece of shit
I mean yeah he broke edge in like the worst way possible but that doesn’t mean their songs are sick (I totally disliked hardcore/heavy music until I heard Movement in the Dead of Night). Same reason I included anarcho punk bands/metalcore bands/bands that didn’t stay vegan — the songs are awesome as motivation for community and taking action and for that reason there’s no reason not to (critically) enjoy them.
